在“Tiktok Refugee”事件中，我在小红书上加了个44岁的美国大姐，人养育了4个孩子，自己不用工作，可以鼓捣一些艺术品，卖卖手工肥皂之类。—— 怎样，听起来是不是特别的美国黄金时代？
事实是，当然她并非还处在美国工业独步全球的时期，那种“男人一人工作可以养活全家夫妻 +三个孩子两条狗”的岁月——而是，她的先生继承了大量家业，其祖父好像是矿主的样子，这叫literally家里有矿。
然后大姐家里人四代当兵，从南北战争打到一战二战朝鲜越南，她家族里的男性成员都参战过。大姐自己甚至还是历史系毕业的，自己也有了解中国的愿望和动机，所以和我类似笔友吧，这是背景。
前几天大姐发来一段私信，我引用如下：
I have recently learned a lot about 1930s Japan and what happened in Nanjing while we did nothing to help which is so shameful then rebuilding Japan and being close ally with people I now believe were equal to Nazis is horrific. I have been embarrassed by my ignorance of the whole thing despite my history degree. It was a shock for me and I think lack of acknowledgment is pure evil and I probably won’t ever see “our great ally” the same again.

事实上，我认为日本鬼子远比纳粹更加残忍和不人道。你可以搜索一下“731部队”。而且，不要只把焦点放在南京大屠杀，日本鬼子在整个中国犯下了无数大规模屠杀的罪行。可悲的是，不像苏联对待纳粹那样深仇大恨，也许你们对日本鬼子并没有那种刻骨的仇恨，所以他们在战后并没有真正被清算。在我看来，原子弹对日本侵略者来说反而是一种“幸运”，因为它迫使天皇投降，阻止了他所谓的“一亿玉碎”。对中国人来说，最大的遗憾是我们没能像苏联红军攻占柏林那样攻下东京，把真正的罪魁——天皇——绳之以法。而美国却因为政治考虑，最终放过了他。
所以，最近看到一则新闻，说你们国防部正在敦促日本和澳大利亚澄清一旦台海发生战争时他们会扮演什么角色……（看，这里就点题了）。我觉得这非常有意思。你知道，其实我们中国大陆人民都很希望解放台湾，实现国家统一，但主观上我们并不想动武。毕竟，台湾的同胞也是我们中国人。但一提到日本人……那种根植于民族和家庭中的仇恨，恐怕才是最有力的动员口号。
其实很多今天的日本人都认为，打败他们的不是中国，而是美国——中国不过是一个“搭便车”的胜利国。换句话说，对于上一场中日战争（二战），双方其实都不满意。因此，彻底地在军事上打败日本并实现其非军事化，是许多中国人至今仍希望看到的结果。日本人从来没有真正反省过他们的侵略历史。他们淡化甚至美化自己的滔天罪行。例如，在学校里，他们根本没有好好讲授731部队和南京大屠杀的真实历史，而是试图歪曲事实，让他们的下一代对本国侵略历史一无所知。这种态度更加坚定了中国人民要让日本正视历史、为过去罪行承担责任的决心。

I hope I didn’t offend bringing up 1937 but it really upset me and I began crying learning about the events and my husband made me turn it off saying I have too many daughters to watch that without freaking out.

事实上，我今天能心平气和地打出这些文字，还是基于：即便以我半军盲级别的了解，也知道70年前发生的这些事情，不太可能再在我的有生之年发生在这个国家了。
我还是那个观点（对美国大姐我也同样说了）：武力解放台湾，我可能还会心有戚戚焉；打鬼子？什么？有这种好事？

I can’t believe our society has held Nazis to account with movies, history classes and museums but celebrate the Japanese who were literally worse and killed as many women and children without accountability in Western history books and films. Our countries different ideas about capitalism and policy allowed atrocities to be hidden away instead I was taught we provoked and forced Japan to attack us and should feel eternal shame about Hiroshima and Nagasaki deaths.
I still believe we treated Japanese Americans unfairly and camps even during war were unacceptable and Not correct American values. The ignoring and hiding such things while spending so much rebuilding those evil men cities and economy while leaving the victim countries to suffer is unacceptable and totally shameful.
真不敢相信，我们的社会通过电影、历史课和博物馆来追究纳粹的责任，却颂扬那些实际上更恶劣的日本人 —— 他们杀害了同样多的妇女和儿童，却在西方的历史书籍和电影中没有受到任何追究。我们各国在资本主义和政策方面的不同理念，使得这些暴行被掩盖起来。相反，我被教导说，是我们挑衅并迫使日本攻击我们，而且我们应该为广岛和长崎的死亡永远感到羞耻。

好吧，我也震惊了，美国人人居然反思是自己“挑衅并迫使日本攻击自己”？这哪出啊，罗斯福只不过让鬼子撤出中国吧，我认为是正义之举。有空我得问大姐要一下石锤，历史教科书歪曲事实我可以理解，但不至于抹黑本国的义举吧。
